24×7 NOC & Cyber Security Analyst

Location:

* Milton Keynes

Hours:

* Providing 24/7 coverage, 365 days a year working within the 4 on 4 off shift patterns

The ideal candidate for this position will have previously worked within an IT helpdesk position monitoring and managing infrastructure and support cases. This position is a great opportunity for anyone that is looking to move into a Cyber Security position. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for cyber security and hold transferable technical skills, either from degree education or from professional experience.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

* Act as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or helpdesk portal

* Analysing multiple security data sources to determine where malicious activities are occurring and respond accordingly

* Monitor and respond to automated incidents generated by NOC and SOC platforms

* Provide technical support to high profile customers through telephone and other channels

* Be prepared to undertake learning and development activities to develop your skills and knowledge

* Collaborate and contribute with team workloads and activities

Essential Skills & Experience:

* Proven experience in a Helpdesk Technician or other IT support role

* Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products

* Good understanding of 0365 products

* Experience in provisioning/setting-up both laptops and desktops

* Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues

* Knowledge of Windows OS (knowledge of Mac OS would be desirable)

* Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines

* Flexible approach to work with differing tasks

* Excellent communication skills

* Customer-oriented, enthusiastic, and equipped with a can- do attitude

* Professional approach to confidentiality

* Must be able to work on their own initiative and also be a team player
