Content Writer, Milton Keynes – 

The Company – Content Writer

Our client is an innovate software organisation based in Milton Keynes who operate within the public services space. Their unique organisation is focused on supporting communities and people within them and bettering said services.

They’re an overall team of around 80, and this position sits within their growing marketing team – working very collaboratively and creatively. It’s a real chance to make the position your own! Job satisfaction is one of the things they pride themselves on!

The Role – Content Writer

Reporting into the Head of Marketing, your responsibilities will include:

Writing engaging and informative copy across online and offline channels, for the purpose of storytelling.
Proofreading and editing new and existing content pieces.
Liaising with the media and journalists to get the voice of the public heard.
Creating case studies, blogs, press releases, news articles, and occasionally proposals.
Working across the marketing, sales and operations teams and be the go-to copywriter for the teams.
Requirements – Content Writer

At least 4-5 years creative content writing experience.
Ideally be from a B2B or public sector background, but this isn’t essential.
Be proficient in creating content for a variety of channels, with a mix of shorter posts and long piece blogs and articles.
Ideally have an awareness or some experience in PR.
Location

This position is a hybrid split of 2 days in the office per week, the other 3 from home.

Therefore, due to the location of the offices, this position would best suit those commuting from areas such as Milton Keynes, Bedford, Northampton, Luton, Aylesbury, Wellingborough, Newport Pagnell and Bletchley.
