Role: Business Development Manager
Area: Hybrid WFH (Milton Keynes)
Base Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 + Comms & Bens to be discussed directly with company
This role is very autonomous and can be performed in a hybrid WFH environment, but you should be happy to attend client-visits if necessary.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of:
Selling IT Support Services
Working for an IT/Security Service Provider
Taking ownership of their role and developing a successful business development plan
Generating leads and converting them into new business
Overachieving their sales/new business targetsMy client is looking for someone who has the confidence and ability to successfully drive new business for the IT Support side of their managed services business.
You will need to possess entrepreneurial flair, be a strategic thinker and relish working in a challenging environment.
As expected, you will also need excellent communication skills and natural business sense alongside a natural tendency to pay close attention to detail and to think analytically. You will also be expected to manage, organise and prioritise your own workload effectively.
The Role:
Contract negotiation
Assess clients' needs and pitch products and services in presentations and meetings
Vendor management – manage the relationships with tech, software and security vendors
Build & manage a successful sales funnel
Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices
