About the role:
We are looking for a Business Analyst with experience in Agile development methodology in an eCommerce B2C & B2B business environment. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering business requirements that will improve our online capabilities for our customers.
Your responsibilities as our Business Analyst will include:
Gaining an in-depth understanding of underlying customer needs & wants
Serving as the voice of business and voice of customer in development & design processes
Gaining an in-depth understanding of systems architecture and interfaces so as to anticipate implications of solution additions, changes, enhancements
Maintaining close interaction with scrum masters, and product owners to ensure delivery of user stories/deliverables
Gathering requirements from existing and potential new business stakeholders and translating these into user stories in collaboration with the Scrum team
Creating epics, detailed user stories, & acceptance criteria
Participating in the scrum process and implementation of each product
Participating in and monitoring testing of any product releases
Leading and facilitating workshops to elicit requirements and present findings back in a logical and clear format
What we’re looking for in our Business Analyst:
Relevant experience/academic degree
Proven experience within a digital/eCommerce business domain
Strong knowledge of Agile principles
In-depth understanding of the business environment and business drivers in order to define and assess “feature value”
A listening attitude with the ability to ask the right questions
Someone who uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions
The ability to scope and break down lengthy difficult tasks and projects into sensible process steps
Fluent knowledge of English, both spoken and written
