Senior Azure Data Consultant (Outside IR35)
 
Our Azure Expert MSP customer are seeking a Senior Azure Data Consultant to carry out a technical ‘hands-on’ role whilst also contributing to design, deployment and thought-leadership.

We’re looking for an ambitious contractor, with proven project delivery experience looking to bring their expertise and knowledge to their next role.

It will involve taking customers on the journey from initial assessment and advice, through to planning, architecture, design, migration and transformation with defined outcomes. As well as delivering technical solution, you will be working closely with other members of the Azure Team as well as our Cloud Solution Architects and experienced Project Managers. 

As the successful Azure Data Consultant you will have:

Experience delivering successful Azure projects on time and to budget 
Proven background in Data Architect/ Data Engineer/Data Consultant roles. 
Data Modelling + Data Warehousing experience 
Experience across a mix of: Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Warehouse. 
Any experience across the following: ETL/ELT, T-SQL, DAX, Power BI and Python 
Any relevant Microsoft Data Certifications would be advantageous (i.e DP-200, DP-201, DA-100 etc) but not necessary
As the successful Azure Data Consultant you will be responsible for:

Working with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and your Practice Area colleagues to deliver enterprise level Azure Data Services implementation and migration 

Delivery and optimisation of customer workloads into Microsoft Azure Data Services, providing deployment guidance.
Delivery of project components to high standards and best practice 
Creating and reviewing High and Low-Level design documents
Work with Solution Architects and Project Managers to improve and refine approach, tooling and delivery of repeatable solutions 
Enforcing and evolving best practise and internal process for documentation and delivery 

Knowledge transfer of all aspects of technical solutions to both internal teams and clients
