Our renowned government client is currently looking to recruit an Associate Delivery Manager on an initial 1 year contract – Outside IR35 £277 per day.
The successful Associate Delivery Manager will have previous experience working within a Project environment and have helped deliver Projects previously. You will have excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills, be confident in minute taking and agenda planning, have knowledge of Waterfall and Agile Methodologies and be experienced working with Microsoft Applications including MS Project. Within the role you will support senior Delivery Managers on a range of project duties, including –
* Monitor the delivery of work streams, including managing delivery tasks of project team members; tracking progress against plans, prioritising delivery tasks, chasing and challenging progress as appropriate.
* Understand customer requirements and managing the delivery of these requirements in line with those expected outcomes from the delivery.
* Scheduling of resources and inputting to the pipeline forecasting to ensure adequate resource planning.
* Problem resolution (within agreed framework/procedure) for any issues arising within their project, product or service delivery. They will identify, analyse, interpret, explore options to resolve and then make decisions or recommend a course of action to more senior Delivery Managers/Stakeholders and/or escalate where required.
* Represent the Management Team at meetings as requested and act as a point of contact within the team for internal and external customers, responding promptly to queries.
* Support the management of dates and documentation for programme and project meetings including formulating and circulating agendas and action lists.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience leading small IT projects with a public sector body, hold certifications in ITIL / APM / PMI / Agile and have an understanding of working within a multi supplier environment, however these aren’t essential.
The successful candidate will need to go through Security Clearance, however you don't need to hold this as you will be sponsored through it.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established organisation on an initial 12 month contract with potential for further extensions
