Assistive Technology Trainers – Associate/Zero Hour Contracts
Remote Working

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of an enthusiastic and passionate Trainer to join the ToHealth team.

* Train customers on how to use specific software or hardware according to individual specific requirements as started in the need’s assessment reports.

* Ability to learn new assistive software and hardware as required

* Delivery and set up of equipment

* Deliver training according to ToHealth’s quality guidelines and code of conduct to ensure training is delivered effectively.

* Manage post training reports and other paperwork effectively, accurately and promptly.

* Maintain a high standard of presentations whilst representing ToHealth.

* Experience in teaching or training on AT and hardware eg: Inspiration, Mind View, Dragon Naturally Speaking, Texthelp Read & Write, typing tutors, various dictionaries, Dolphin, Zoomtext, JAWS, ClaroRead. Digital voice recorders, scanning pens, personal organisers and also MS Office suite.

* Experience in teaching or training computer software and hardware in the educational setting and in the workplace on a 1:1 basis or to small groups

* Experience of working with disabled people or people with visual impairment and / or specific learning differences.
