Application Support – Manufacturer – Circa £35K – Milton Keynes

As an Application Support you will be responsible for providing application support to the business across all sites and maintain the business systems within the organisation. You will work to help, support and resolve colleagues issues with all application issues.

Responsibility

Advanced Application support on Microsoft Office suite (including Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint etc) and Adobe Suite.
Support for the SQL data warehouse.
Develop, maintain and support their internal systems.
Assisting in the development and support of the internal ERP system (VAI S2K).
Support the Tableau reporting system and assist in report troubleshooting.
Develop and maintain Sharepoint sites for the company.
Create and maintain detailed system documentation for processes and procedures.
Out of hours on-call support.
The above list of tasks is not exhaustive, and the post holder may be required to take on additional tasks as and when required by the company.

Excellent Excel skills including complex formulas and macros
Microsoft Query (ODBC Connections)
Tableau Server and Desktop
Microsoft Office applications including Teams and Visio
Adobe products including creative cloud and Illustrator
Sharepoint development skills
Prioritisation and organisation
Workload management

Knowledge and Experience

Advanced knowledge and experience of Microsoft office application functionality
Experience with supporting Tableau Server and Desktop
Knowledge of Formate Evo or similar systems
Experience of SQL Server environment and basic troubleshooting knowledge
Experience of performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
Some experience of SharePoint development/maintenance
Exposure to any additional scripting/programming skills
