An Application Software Engineer, qualified to Degree level and with 3+ years’ experience of programming in VB, C#, C++, Python or Java will develop Desktop, Android and Web applications for a wide range of products used in the automation industry.

This role offers an opportunity to become involved with communication protocols and Industrial IoT technologies; as a key member of the European Technical Centre you’ll also create software documentation, testing software and providing technical support to subsidiaries and customers.

To be considered for this Application Software Engineer role you’ll have:

* A minimum of a 2.1 relevant Bachelors Degree.

* Proven commercial programming experience using VB, C#, C++, Python or Java.

* The ability to write technical reports and software documentation.

* Some experience writing Docker applications for factory automation.

* Experience with Factory Automation, Cloud Computing and Industrial IoT.

There may be some UK and European travel, so a valid passport and a UK driving Licence required.

Depending on your level of experience, a competitive salary will be offered up to £47K and with good benefits
