Application Server Support Analyst is required to join a leading pharmaceutical company on an initial 12-month Fixed Term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to help with the fight against Covid.

The ideal Application Server Support Analyst Candidate

The ideal Application Server Support Analyst candidate will be MCSE certified and have at least 4 years’ experience working at 2nd line and above on desktop and application issues across Windows and Linux

Key skills

Windows server administration 2012 through 2019 and managing Active Directory accounts, OUs and Group Policies
Hyper-V administration
Linux server administration
Supporting application servers, working alongside application developers
Some degree of MSSQL database administration skills, including performance analysis, index etc maintenance, clustering, backup and recovery.
Knowledge of basic network technologies such as IP/DHCP, WiFi, VPN, switch port management
Minimum of 4 years’ experience working in a similar role.

£34,000 FTC 12 months

For the successful Application Server Support Analyst applicant, you will be part of a key project that is directly linked to the ongoing situation with Covid so you will be instrumental in supporting the nation during this crisis so it is an exciting opportunity to be a part of something important. This role is full time on site and operates under semi shift working conditions covering extended hours, early or late as necessary (for example perhaps 06:00 to 16:30 or 11:30 to 22:00) in a rota pattern. The role involves providing paid on-call cover overnight (for example 22:00 to 06:30) in the same rota pattern.
