A-WARE is part of the Alphaware Group Ltd – A Multi-Cloud and Cyber Security product and services provider working with UK SME businesses.
The Team
Our Account Management team are a proactive client acquisition team, focused with on-boarding and developing customers by positioning the value of the A-WARE platform and service.
In doing so, we help CXO to gain the visibility they want and need to maximise their business and minimise wastage.
Your Role
As an Account Manager, you will be targeted with acquiring | onboarding, and supporting high-value SME customers across the UK.
The role only suits a proactive self-starter who is focused on the long game, overachieving their financial objectives and has a customer-first mindset.
As your experience and learnings grow around the A-WARE platform you will become more focused on scaling those existing relationships, partnering with one or more of our Specialist Consultants.
We provide the platform for you to run your own business within a business, the rest is up to you!
What you will be doing
* Onboarding customers to the A-WARE platform
* Inbound – Proactively following up on all inbound prospective customers.
* Outbound – Proactive business development to prospective customers – Cold calling | Linked In | Email will be your preferred methods of engaging with clients.
* Researching and qualifying potential customers to build a database of prospects.
* Engaging and providing value-added touchpoints with existing clients.
* Learning: How to position the A-WARE platform and service | Technology offered by our partner community.
* Partnering and assisting the Specialist Consultants with renewal / new opportunities.
* Increasing Share of Wallet (SOW) alongside managing existing contracts.
* Understanding vendor promotions, special bids and deal registration processes, and the value this brings to clients.
* Always Displaying the Alphaware values.
About You
* Minimum of two years client-facing sales experience – ideally proactive and B2B.
* IT Sales experience a positive, but not a must-have.
* Passion for Alphaware values.
* Potential and willingness to put in the effort – this is more important than experience.
* Desire to learn about technology.
* Comfortable with getting uncomfortable and building a client base from scratch.
* Strong organisational skills with a proactive mentality.
* Creative problem-solving abilities.
* Team-player who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
