I am working with a leading global organization with over 20 years experience of developing cutting edge software tailored for events management and student accommodation. With over 90% of UK universities using the software and plans to expand globally, this is an exciting time to join the growing team.
You will join a support team of 12 people who are all passionate about what they do. Theirs a genuine care and attention to detail that runs throughout the company and everything they do. You will be the voice of the business to their huge portfolio of clients, so you must be confident talking with different users and ensuring they are made to feel happy with each outcome.
You will be working on a finite number of tickets daily, with a generous time given on each to ensure you are putting the right care and attention into each to get the best outcome for every user. You will be given the freedom to investigate the issues, and this will help you learn and develop your own skills in a collaborative environment.
Youll be supporting the suite of products the client provides, so lots to learn and dive into from the get go. You will deal with a variety of issues; from your simple password resets to your more investigative issues about How do I….. These require more looking into and this is where youll be able to look under the covers and learn more and more about the product suites.
You dont need to understand SQL from the beginning, but you must be willing to learn this in the role and bring a basic understanding of IT also. Any experience of understanding relational databases is also a bonus for this position.
