This is a sensational opportunity for a successful Regional Account Manager to join an established manufacturing market leader within the catering, hospitality and environmental sectors.
Ideally this role would suit someone that lives within 35 miles of Milton Keynes, as there will be a requirement to work from the office a few days per week. This role is predominantly covering the South of England and will involve travel, however at present all business meetings are conducted via video conferencing.
We will be looking for someone with a proven track record in a hybrid account management role within the catering or hospitality industries. There will be an emphasis on business development due to an exciting and radical pivot in this company’s long-term vision. This role is reporting to the Commercial Director and is responsible for developing positive revenue and margin growth through planning and execution of the agreed sales strategy.
Roles and responsibilities:
* Developing new business and initiatives to achieve agreed financial and sales objectives
* Managing existing key accounts
* Developing new product sales and initiatives
* Developing new account sales
* Creating and maintaining successful working relationships with clients
* Going the extra mile with customer experience
* Providing market intelligence to marketing and product development team on competitive products, solutions and activities
* Accurately and efficiently entering customer information into the CRM
* Preparing monthly sales reports and forecasts
* Contributing towards marketing projects and initiatives
* Managing sales process and pipeline
Essential skills & experience required:
* Must hold a proven track record in both sales and account management
* Ability to create, develop and maintain relationships by demonstrating listening, verbal and written communication skills
* Experienced in building, developing and maintaining national account relationships at a senior level.
* Must be able to swiftly build rapport and solid relationships with customers and colleagues, at all levels
* Have good negotiation skills and a problem-solving attitude to ensure commercial success.
* An appreciation for the need for a positive client experience.
* Knowledge and experience of the catering & hospitality industry
* Strong organisational skills
* Must have good and proven IT skills, numeracy and literacy skills
