40 hour weeks, Restaurant & Private Dining – exclusive group & multi-million pound luxury home

Bright Selection Ltd are delighted to be representing a key client in their appointment of an experienced Head Chef for a luxury care home in the Milton Keynes area.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an exclusive group of private, high-end care where you can enjoy a work/life balance, working 40 hours per week.

Requirements

Experience of working as a Head Chef within a luxury or 4/5 star restaurant (or Nursing Home)
Knowledge of catering for the elderly and the important of nutrition and fortified diets where appropriate.
Level 2 Diploma in Professional Cookery (awarded by ASET and City and Guilds) or 706 1/2
Stocktaking, product ordering and accountability
COSHH 'Control of Substances Hazardous to Health' trained and HASSAP aware
Working knowledge of H&S legislation
Demonstrate good communications skills at all levels.

Responsibilities

Producing high-end, beautifully presented food
Engaging with residents and understanding individual nutrition needs and tastes
Overseeing and managing a full kitchen and kitchen staff
Ensuring health, safety and hygiene measures
Monitoring supplies, stock, costs and budgets
Assist the business with any areas of catering
Catering for private functions and events

Remuneration

Salary offered £34316 plus company benefits
