Lace Hill Manor is operated by Maria Mallaband and is the second addition of the exciting role out of state-of-the-art care homes. A 62-bed private care home designed for residential, nursing and dementia care currently under construction in Needlepin Way, Buckingham, and is set to open in Spring 2022. Everything at Lace Hill Manor will be led by the people that live and work in the home – they will be involved in every decision.

The Concierge with have overall responsibility in the effective delivery of all aspects of the front of house experience (including the Bar & Bistro areas) whilst promoting, delivering, and maintaining the very highest of standards within own role and those within the front of house team to ensure a memorable 5-star experience to all.
Duties will include
To contribute to the achievement of the overall standards in respect of front of house services and guidance to the front of house team in their presentation and interaction with guests.
To act as the liaison within the home with regards to activities such as reservations, transportation, appointments & events
To always ensure appropriate staff coverage by taking full responsibility for the implementation and updating of the front of house rota, including the management, approval and covering of annual leave and absence monitoring within the team. This will include completing supervisions and appraisals.
Work alongside the Home Manager to recruit members of the front of house team, then taking full responsibility to induct, train, supervise and encourage the members of the team. Continually overseeing the development of all staff within the team.
To be responsible for managing & overseeing the front of house service, including the Bistro & Bar area, and ensuring everyone who lives in, and visits Lace Hill Manor has the best possible experience
To liaise with the management team regarding people moving into the home. The Concierge will take full responsibility in ensuring that the ‘move in’ experience is organised, professional, personal and rememberable for all the right reasons
To work alongside the house keeping team to ensure the environment is always kept exceptionally clean
