Job Title : Sous Chef

Location: HP14

Salary : £17 – £18/ hr

Permanant opportunity after 3 months

Our client is a well-established, independent gastro pub , serving fresh food and local ales. The team are the heart of the business and they are renowned for their high service standards.

The Person

The Chef will have:

* Experience at a similar level (Junior Sous and above) in a fresh food environment, ideally a similar style of gastro pub, cooking with local fresh produce.

* Confidence to deputise for the Head Chef in their absence, supporting with the efficient running of service.

* Ability to run a neat, efficient and organised section.

* Experience in monitoring stock rotation.

* The ability to remain calm under pressure and communicate well in a busy and fast paced environment.

* Flexibility to cover shifts as required
