Catering Assistant
DBS & Level 2 Food Hygiene required

Job Type: Temp to Perm

Hours: Monday – Wednesday 3:30pm to 7:30pm

Salary: £8.91ph

Location: Eaglestone, Milton Keynes

Requirements:
– Valid in date DBS check
– Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate or Qualification
– Ensure that Patient and clients receive a prompt and courteous service at all times
– Ensure that all Patients, clients and customers are dealt with promptly and courteously according to company standards
– Preparation of sandwiches, Salads and beverages as required
– Receive, check, sort and store Supplier products as directed
– Prepare Food service area to the standard laid out by the management
– Serve all food and beverages at the specified times and in the appropriate quantities
– Ensure tables, chairs, trolleys and floors are kept clean and tidy at all times
– Collection, removal and washing of cutlery, crockery and trays in the appropriate way
– Cleaning of the Kitchen Area including floors, work surfaces and all equipment
– To assist with catering stocktaking as required
– To undertake any other duties as are reasonably requested by management

A Successful Candidate:
– Educated to A-Level / O-Level level
– No less than 1 years' experience, preferably within Healthcare
– Must be fluent in English, both oral and written for communication
– Ability to work well under pressure, and flexibility in approach to duties
– The candidate must present a professional image at all times. Uniform will be provided and must be worn at all times whilst on duty

Ideally you will have great people skills, be passionate about delivering excellent customer service as well as being able to work as part of a team. Previous experience in a kitchen environment or customer service role is preferable though not essential as full training will be provided, though a 'can do' attitude is a must.
