Casual Bar Staff
Hourly Rate: £9 per hour
Location: Milton Keynes

Our Client:

Shenley Leisure Centre was opened in 1991 with a vision and mission to deliver an inclusive range of Health and Wellbeing initiatives to the local community whilst providing a clean, safe, and happy leisure experience.

Shenley Leisure Centre's Sportsmen's Rest Bar are now looking for casual bar staff to join their team. From greeting guests and taking orders, to drink service, you will be the first point of contact for all guests, so excellent verbal communication skills are required. We are looking for conscientious individuals, with a can-do attitude and a desire to exceed expectations whilst delivering a top-quality service ensuring that customers return over and over again. Other responsibilities will include ensuring the cleanliness of the bar area, cash handling and bar service.

The Role
You will be delivering attentive customer focused service, understand brand standards and enjoy working as part of a successful team. The role expectations are:
-To be responsible, reliable, loyal, trustworthy, self-motivated with excellent customer service skills
-You must be smart, presentable, welcoming, positive, and offer a friendly, helpful customer journey to everyone.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Ability to perform under pressure.
-To enjoy working with people, to over exceed the guests' expectations and satisfaction.
-To comply with current SLC policies for guests and staff, including the Fire & Health & Safety Procedures.
-To have good work ethic, be adaptable and be willing to carry out additional tasks when necessary.
-Due to bar service, applicants must be over 18 years old.
-Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
-Previous experience of working within the hospitality industry (essential)
-Personal Licence Holder (desirable)

Hours, Holidays and Pay Rate
*Zero hours contract. Variety of shifts Monday to Sunday according to the weekly rota demands. Must be flexible with working hours (majority of shifts will be evenings and weekends). Finishing times can be past midnight so you would need to arrange your own transport.
*Annual leave accrued according to the hours worked.
*Competitive hourly rate of £9 per hour
