An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Care Systems Trainer/ Coordinator to join the team at Maria Mallaband Care Group.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Electronic Care System Trainer will support the roll out and implementation of electronic care planning and medication applications (additional applications may also be required), providing post implementation support in MMCG/Countrywide Homes.

Responsibilities will include:

Planning, co-ordinating and delivering systems training to all MMCG & CWCH staff

Assisting with the writing of training materials and training plans.

Supporting homes, managers, and the Project Manager in the end-to-end implementation of systems and applications.

Responding to issues and queries, full training will be provided.

* This is a Regional role and therefore s travel and overnight stays will be required.

* This role will involve some weekend working and staying away from home at weekends.

About You

The ideal Care Systems Trainer candidate will:

Be proficient in using Microsoft Office packages and have good general IT skills

Have experience within a care background, and be confident with care planning theory

Have experience of managing medication (This could be within a care home or pharmacy)

Have strong communication and motivational skills

Be able to work to timescales

Satisfactory Disclosure completion upon successful application

Have a clear UK driving license

Be flexible to travel on a regular basis including overnight stays

Be comfortable with regular visits to Care Home sites

Have the ability to deliver training to groups of staff and on a one to one basis
