Established over 35 years ago this global business design and manufacture cutting edge equipment, servicing the automotive, aviation, food, and scientific industries. Due to continuous growth, they are looking for an additional Workshop Technician to join the procurement team.
In this role you will work in a small close-knit team, machining mechanical components for prototype and special concept products, You will support engineers with testing, construction of test rigs, set up and monitoring of tests and report results. With training you will build electrical panels and control boxes, you will also assist team leader in general workshop activities such as: Calibration, CoSHH, H&S, machine maintenance.
This role would be ideal for a mechanical engineer who has a varied background of machining, assembly and testing. Full training will be given in this role and external qualifications are offered to those who prove they want to learn and develop.
The Role:
Workshop Technician
Machining products for prototype and concept products
Assisting engineering team with testing products and report writing
Training and Development on all aspects of the role.
£30'000 – £35'000 + Training, Professional Development, Overtime, Healthcare, Pension and Excellent Benefits

Mechanical or related engineering qualification: NVQ Level 3 or above
Have experience machining
Be computer literate
Wants to be trained and developed
