Job Role: Workshop Fitter – UK Plant
Location: Buckinghamshire
Salary: £32,000 per annum
Permanent position
I'm currently looking for a Workshop Fitter – UK Plant to work on the HS2 project for a major construction / infrastructure company on a permanent basis located in Buckinghamshire.
Purpose of Role:
To carry out the role of a fitter at Ryton Yard.
Have experience work on construction site
Have experience / knowledge on foundation equipment is preferable
Have experience with equipment jobsite like excavation crane, crawler crane, lifting crane, drilling rig, hydraulic and mechanic clamshell, forklift, MEWP, Mud pump, centrifuge, descender, desilter…
Must to know the hydraulic application
Must to know to read the hydraulic and mechanic drawing
To be able to diagnose equipment failures and organizes to repair it
Responsible and knowing how to work with a mechanic and electrician team
Ensure reporting to his hierarchy/manager
Multidisciplinary and motived to work in international company
Minimum professional experience in this activity will be 5 years

To understand, complete and maintain machine service reports
Comply with company policies and procedures
To work in a safe and efficient manner
To comply with all Health and Safety practices and policies
Participate in any other related duties as required which will help the business to meet its objectives
Have an understanding on the clients needs and work effectively to achieve a quality job, every time

Be mindful of, and work to prevent waste in any form
Experience/Skills/Qualifications/Personal Attributes:
GCSE grades C and above in English, Maths and Science
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to problem solve
Desirable:
GCSE grade C or above in IT
Excellent time keeping and punctuality skills
Ability to work under close supervision and take note of instruction and guidance
Customer service skills
Work as part of a team
Take ownership of personal development
Ability to plan and prioritise
