Our client is looking for an experienced UPS Engineer, within service and maintenance.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties;

1. UPS service and maintenance at customer premises.

2. New UPS installation commissioning.

3. UPS emergency repairs and fault finding.

4. Battery builds and battery replacements.

5. Working on single and three phase UPS systems, static inverters, rectifiers and ATS switches.

6. Configure and setup UPS SNMP and Modbus for connection at customer premises.

7. Proficient in the use of UPS external bypass switches.

8. Completing required paperwork accurately and in line with engineering responsibilities on a daily basis.

9. On call rota system 1in4 weeks. Engineers will need to be contactable and available to attend any faults throughout the duration of their ‘on call’ rota 7days/24hours.

10. Take responsibility for and maintain company tools and equipment, including company vans and electrconic devices provided.

11. Stayaways and extensive travelling as required.

12. Complete training as required.

Complete security vetting forms as required

Desirable

* 3-5 years UPS experience Installation & Maintenance.

* Experience of three and single-phase UPS systems.

* A field service engineering background and be computer literate.
