Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a UK Welding Tech Support/Application Engineer based in Milton Keynes for an international welding company.

Salary: £40,000 per annum
Location: Milton Keynes with travel to clients across UK. Must be commutable to Milton Keynes. 
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-time.
Hours: 35 hours working week, Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm

The role…

As the UK Welding Tech Support/Application Engineer your role will involve the following important duties:

3-5 days out visiting clients dependent on customer needs.
Provide support and application advice to customers.
Carry out test welds and demonstrations. 
Provide expert training for MIG/MAG/TIG/MMAW.
Commissioning of welding systems.
Providing email and telephone support for technical and welding queries/problems.
Create welding parameters for various applications.
Assisting with events.
The experience required…

As a successful UK Welding Tech Support/Application Engineer you will have the following:

Educational and technical training and/or relevant professional experience.
Welding experience within a production/fabrication environment.
Interactive process knowledge. 
Specialist with MIG/TIG welding.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong IT skills with experience using Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
