Town Planner / Senior Town Planner – Milton Keynes – Negotiable
This highly regarded Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy is looking for an experienced Town Planner to join their Milton Keynes based office. Working with a full range of public and private clients across the country they provide practical, creative advice to drive forward the planning process, taking on board every changing policy, development trends and the wider environmental and economic impact.

The role:
With a strong reputation in the Planning field you will find yourself joining a vibrant and self-supporting team of Planning professional operating across the Oxford – Cambridge growth hub. In the office they work on behalf of both public and private sector clients and with a diverse range of projects they can provide you with a with fantastic opportunities to broaden your horizons and develop your skillset across planning. Providing advice across the entire spectrum of development schemes, from initial feasibility studies through to the submission of large-scale planning applications and appeals they have a have strong local and national networks and work in a truly collaborative team culture. This, combined with the quality of service they provide to their clients, is what makes them consistently one of the top planning consultancies in the UK.
Working across the team's diverse project base, you will be responsible for preparing site appraisals, development plan representations, submitting planning (and other) applications and appeals and advising clients generally. As a commercially minded individual you will be supported in developing your own client base and taking the lead on projects with budgetary accountability.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a RTPI accredited or eligible Town Planner with proven experience in a similar role. You may be presently working in a local authority, consultancy or for a housebuilder. You will be capable of managing a varied workload and be confident taking on the responsibility for the day-to-day management of concurrently running projects.

Ability to deliver reliable technical input in a timely and efficient way
Develop creative and original planning solutions to meet all parties needs
Research and assess planning policy to guide future development
Be able to demonstrate enthusiasm, energy and the ability to work under your own initiative to meet our client's expectations and help expand the business
Strong stakeholder engagement. Demonstrating excellent communication skills, allowing you to work effectively with multi-skilled teams internally and externally
