Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be working with a highly regarded Planning Consultancy in Milton Keynes on the hire of a Town Planner to join the existing team to work on an exciting and challenging mix of projects. This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis.

This position would suit an established Planner or an experienced Graduate looking to step up and join a supportive practice with a reach that extends to London. You will work with an experienced management team that will provide the support and guidance needed to help you reach your career objectives.

Key duties of the role:-

Leading planning projects of all sizes, from inception through to completion. This will include liaising with other divisions of the business and the delegation of tasks to other members of the planning team.
Project forecasting including monitoring project deadlines, costings and working closely with the client on all site developments.
Working independently on planning applications, design and access statements whilst offering guidance to junior members of the team.
Offer expert advice on the submission of tenders for new planning projects, including site assessments, boardroom presentations, whilst maintaining the interests of the client at all times.

The Consultancy is well placed to provide a comprehensive service throughout England & Wales and has a breadth of industry knowledge. They can offer projects in a host of sectors such as Residential, Commercial, Education, Retail, Mixed Use & Leisure. Recent clients include: Pret a Manager, Travelodge, Welcome Break, Sainsbury's and Hilton Hotel.
