Great opportunity for someone to work for a local Engineering company based in Aylesbury!! Do you have a time served apprenticeship as a Toolmaker, have you got more recent experience using CNC Machines including 5 Axis?
Are you looking for a varied role where you will work across all areas of the machine shop?

What's in it for you ? Minimum of 39hrs per week, working standard hours 7.30-4.30 Mon-Thur 7.30-3.30 Fri, pay rate £15-£18 P/H. Basic annual salary around 30-32k yearly salary with overtime 40k plus.
Normal overtime in a week is between 5-15 hours per week. Other benefits are 5 weeks holiday, Up to 5% company contribution pension scheme.
What our client is looking for from you?
As Toolmaker you will be working alongside a team of multi skilled engineers. You will be using various machines across the workshop including 5 axis machines, mills, lathes and grinders. The team work as a close group and the management team have a very hands on approach.
The position will suit a Toolmaker / Machinist who wants to take a project through full life cycle from drawing to finished component.
Duties and daily tasks CNC Machining – Milling and Turning 5 axis preferred, manual milling, turning and grinding, spark eroding, manufacturing blow mould tooling, working to tight tolerances, reading engineering drawings, producing small batch runs
CNC Machining – Milling and Turning, Fanuc controls experience useful but not essential, EDM – Spark and Wire Erosion would be an advantage.
