Position: Toolmaker (Various shifts available – Perm or contract considered )

Location: Buckinghamshire

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 + 33% Shift allowance plus Excellent Benefits

The Company: Our Client, who pride themselves on Excellence, manufacture and sells a range of plastic products and components for the luxury Automotive Sector.

The Role: Due to sustained continued expansion and investment, they now require 4 Toolmakers on various shifts whose primary responsibility will be to undertake toolroom based continuous improvement activities in the areas of quality and productivity, and in the case of equipment breakdown, to minimise downtime through fabrication or repair of worn/damaged part of production machinery.

The Person: Candidates suitable for consideration should be able to provide evidence of the following:

* Apprentice trained toolmaker, with vocational experience of a similar position

* BTEC or NVQ 3 in mechanical manufacturing engineering or equivalent an advantage

* Experienced in all aspects of toolmaking and fabrication using lathes, drills, milling and grinding machines, precision cutting, welding, fly press etc, including materials and finishing processes.

* Experience in a technical capacity and a thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems.
