An exciting opportunity for a Tooling Design Engineer to join a long-standing British manufacturer who have built their reputation on providing quality products to their clients, offering the chance for technical development.
Do you have an HNC/HND in mechanical engineering? Have you previously worked as a Toolmaker and progressed to a design office?
This company is well known within their industry for offering premium quality products to their clients. They are a British owned manufacturer and have been trading for nearly 100 years. Due to their expansion and a reshuffle within the design team they are now looking to add a Design Engineer to their dedicated team.
In this role you will receive full training on the products and processes of the company. You will be working closely with the Engineering Manager to develop new products and improve the designs of existing products. As this is a small team, you will also play a part in speaking with customers, providing technical support, and helping to finalise sales.
The ideal candidate will have a HNC or HND in mechanical engineering, previous toolmaking experience and have experience with fixtures or tooling design, looking to take the next step up in their career and grow and develop with the company.
The role:
– Working closely with the Engineering Manager

– Design products specific to customer needs
The person:
– HNC/HND in mechanical engineering
– Previous experience as a toolmaker
– Experience in a design office
– Understanding or fixture/tooling design
