Technical Support Engineer – Heat Pumps required for our client, a market-leading supplier and manufacturer of renewable and heating solutions to the commercial market.

They are currently seeking an engineer with extensive experience within heat pumps to join the team. The role will require the Engineer to travel to the Head office in Banbury. The role will cover a range of duties from pre-installation surveys, specification details, and technical support for installers and customers, assisting fault-finding and repairs, and post installation quality assurance. The Engineer will also help solve onsite technical issues on the products and help support the service team.

It is expected that the Technical Engineer to have extensive knowledge and experience with Heat Pumps within the installation, service, maintenance and repair background, and ideally have some Commercial or Domestic Gas experience

Technical Heat Pump Support Engineer Position Requirements

Thorough understanding of HVAC Industry, with broad experience in commercial Heat Pump technology, maintenance and installation.
Good understanding of electrical controls including Modbus
Understanding of technical wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings
Ideally experience in gas commercial boilers, water heaters and their applications
Good IT knowledge including Microsoft Office packages and Navision/CRM type software
An excellent attitude towards providing consistently high levels of customer service
Good organisational skills

Technical Heat Pump Support Engineer Position Remuneration

Salary £40,000 – £45,000
Company car + fuel card
25 days holiday + bank holiday
Ongoing training and development
