A market leader in the supply and maintenance of systems into different sectors including food processing and manufacturing is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join their team in Milton Keynes.  The majority of this role will be office based with UK travel as and when required.

Your role is the next key hire for the business who are continuing to add to their team and increase the levels of service which they provide to their incredibly reputable client base. As a Technical Support Engineer you will:

Liaise with the other members of the service team to ensure a trouble-free installation experience for the customers of our client.
Work closely with service scheduling teams to ensure projects adhere to the service operations governance framework to meet our service delivery expectation.
Lead meetings to ensure project information is shared within the business stakeholders when requested.
Lead scheduled project meetings to cover lessons learned and providing updates to stakeholders.
Ensure any special project requirements of both the customer and business are met.
Manage customer expectations whilst also communicating with customers and ensuring the action of any follow up requirements.
Pro-actively prepare briefing packs, meeting packs and action packs ahead of key meetings by collating, analysis, and manipulating data, records, and other information.
Identify areas for process improvements and make recommendations.
Identify and escalate any issue that exposes Service Delivery to risk.
Support the sales team in offer related activities including on/off-site demonstrations.
 

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer with the following:

Experience within the manufacturing or engineering industries.
Able to accept multiple objectives and prioritize accordingly.
Able to take a planned approach whilst being able to incorporate changes.
Knowledge of electromechanical processes.
Proactive nature and willing to express own ideas of improvement and changes.
Willing to undertake some UK travel when required.
