Our client is a leading original equipment manufacturer of CNC machinery and due to continued business expansion Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Technical Support Engineer.
The successful candidate will be based at our client's head office facility in Milton Keynes and you will provide effective technical support for customers and field service engineers.
The Role:
Reporting to the service manager you will provide effective technical (help desk) support for customers and field service engineers located throughout the UK.
You will provide technical support via telephone and internet and your duties will include but is not limited to the following;
Effective processing of incoming technical product queries via telephone and email
Escalate customer technical enquiries to service engineer visits where necessary
Ensure details of all calls and enquiries are accurately logged onto internal service database
Resolve technical queries in a quick and efficient manner, ensuring compliance all company policy and proceduresCandidate:
You will be an experienced engineer with excellent knowledge of electrical / mechanical systems. You will be computer literate and you will be able to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams.
Ideally you will have previous experience in maintenance service and repair of CNC machinery.
You will be organised, methodical and you will display those qualities associated with someone who can deliver, build and maintain excellent customer service.
Hours of Work:
Mon -Fri 40 hours

Excellent basic salary negotiable depending on experience
