The Position

An immediate opportunity exists for a Technical Sales Engineer with experience of project engineering within the materials handling industry. Working within the Sales Team you will work closely with the Sales Manager to deliver and drive the sales of bespoke mechanical handling solutions in the UK. As a Technical Sales Engineer you will be providing solutions for multiple industry sectors including Automotive and Aerospace. The role is based from offices in Thames Valley region with travel required throughout the UK, so full UK driving licence is required. Use of fleet vehicle is supplied.

The Person

As a Technical Sales Engineer you will proactively identify and establish new business. Therefore a successful track record in Technical Sales preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering will be beneficial. You should be self motivated and results driven and be able to price and produce quotes for new business. You will also be required to demonstrate products to aid achievement of sales targets where appropriate, so you will have the ability to engage and communicae at all levels both verbally and written. You should be commercially astute and capable of negotiating contracts, terms and conditions, and provide aftersales support and attend trade exhibitions.
