Location – MK / LU Office 2 days a week, 3 days from home when not on site seeing projects.

Candidate – Expereinced Plumbing and Heating Engineer with industry qualifications and certifications e.g. BPEC, unvented hot water, Level 2 Plumbing and Heating, Level 3 Plumbing and Heating, Water Regulations, Domestic Gas, F-Gas and ideally expereince with ASHP's.

The Position

This is a brand-new Plumbing and Heating Technical Engineer position on domestic new build and refurbishment projects has been created due to unprecedented growth working for one of the largest plumbing and heating installation providers in the UK.

As the Technical Engineer you will oversee domestic residential housing heating projects both new build housing developments through housebuilders and social housing schemes through local authorities and housing associations, including retrofit systems on existing dwellings.

The role combines home and office team working managing and overseeing installations, engaging with a variety of clients by phone and computer.

Experience Required

Ideally you will have a minimum of 5 years hands on plumbing and heating install experience combined with ASHP’s, up to date plumbing qualifications and current industry regulation knowledge e.g. BPEC, unvented hot water, Level 2 or Level 3 Heating and Plumbing, water regulations, G3, Domestic Gas. F-Gas and Heat Pump Installation.

Furthermore it would be of great interest if you have basic electrical qualifications so you have the ability to propose both plumbing and electrical wiring layouts on large projects requiring numerous air source heat pumps.

Please still apply if you have no or limited ASHP install experience but extensive domestic plumbing experience installing or swapping out other heating systems such as gas boilers, oil burners, hot water cylinders, radiators, ground source heat pumps (GSHP’s), solar PV, MVHR and Heat Interface Units (HIU's). Basic computer skills are required due to office time both at HQ and on large project client sites.
