Team Leader – Welding and Fabrication

£25phr (Umbrella rate)

This is a long term Contract role, working for our Rail Rolling Stock client in the Milton Keynes area.

To be considered, you must be a qualified Welder/Fabricator with a background of Managing staff.

Duties:

Supervising a Team of Welder/Fabricators including coaching, motivating and the
planning of their work
Reporting on man power hours against budget
Regular checks on the competencies of individuals and advising on any Training needs
Inform the Manager on any improvements that can be made with regards to the
efficiency, productivity and quality etc.
Organise equipment and staff in accordance with the production plan
Liaise with other Departments within the organisation
Constantly review Health and Safety in the workplace
General administration (must be computer literate)
