An opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader with experience in Highways and Traffic to join a client in Buckinghamshire. You will be responsible for managing a team of highway and traffic engineering professionals as well as overseeing the section 278 and section 38 functions. Other duties include managing major projects, delivering the highways capital programme, assessing and reviewing planning applications and leading on the design stage of scheme delivery.   
 
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £45 – £50 per hour – negotiable for the right candidate.  Flexible working arrangements / working from home opportunities are available.
 
Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
·Managing and leading a team of highway and traffic engineering professionals
·Overseeing the developers function including section 278 and 38 agreements, the planning process and section 106 agreements
·Delivering a range of major projects and the capital programme across the area
·Managing all aspects of highway design and scheme delivery
