Ford & Stanley Talentwise are seeking an experienced Team Leader in the Milton Keynes area.

The Opportunity

This is the opportunity to work within one of the nation's biggest Train Operating Companies, aiding with the development and implementation of continuous improvement activities in all staff and operations on site.

Location (s): Milton Keynes, Bedford, Northampton, Oxford, Luton

Role and Responsibilities:

Organise a team a team of 10-15 staff
Daily task allocation
Coordinate the daily tasks of Shunters on depot
Contribution towards the continuous improvement of internal processes
 The Candidate

The ideal candidate must have experience of leading and coordinating their own team and also a rollingstock / rail background. Flexibility is an absolute must; this position will be on a potential 7-day roster with a varying shift pattern to meet the project needs. You will be a Team player, who can quickly develop strong working relationships with colleagues, but also self-motivated and able to take ownership and responsibility of your own work and team. This is a high paced environment that would suit someone who is able to stay positive and calm in difficult and stressful situations.

Key Skills and Qualities

Experience within a rail background.
Team leader experience
IOSHH and/or COSHH knowledge
Must be able to attain a PTS
Shift Pattern/ Hours

This role will be based on a potential 7-day roster, with a mixture of days,  nights and weekends mixed into this.

Other information: A pre-employment Drugs & Alcohol test and Medical must be passed prior to start.
