The role of Sustaining Engineering Manager is to drive the orders of standard and legacy components from sale to despatch.  This includes responding to the customer order within the SLA terms, producing technical documentation, generating a bill of materials for the production site and analysing how orders can be produced and delivered as efficiently as possible.
The role will report to the Global Sustaining Engineering Manager and will be responsible for global reports.  A key element of the role will be the hiring and development of the team.
We are looking for:

A couple of years leading an engineering team.
Experience of hiring engineers.
Knowledge of sheet metal and polymer moulding.
Technical authoring.
Project management skills.
Advanced IT skills. You will be part of a global company operating in high-growth markets.  They are soon to have a European centre of excellence based in the UK, and there will be regular trips there.  The company are keen on development of their people and also operate a mentoring programme.  The could be career opportunities within the UK or globally.  The client is set up to sponsor migrant visas
