A major civil engineering contractor are recruiting a Sub Agent for a major earthworks package on HS2 in Buckinghamshire. The company has outstanding relationships with local authorities, Highways England, Network Rail as well as a good order book on HS2.

The project is £120m and started this month with the site set up and enabling works completed. The earthworks package is starting mid-spring and requires a Sub Agent with experience of bulk earthworks and heavy civils. Ideally you will have a technical background and experience of working as a Site Engineer on similar projects.

Duties include:
*Write risk assessment, construction plans and method statements
*Management of the commercial team with site change control and ensuring all cost, value and change control is captured in line with the contract.
*Manage documentation for quality assurance and Health and Safety files
*Attend monthly progress meetings with clients and stakeholders
*Liaising with clients to ensure work is completed to specification
*Manage the direct labour force and specialist subcontractors
*Assist with raising early warnings and compensation events
*Liaise with the public stakeholders
