Are you a Site Engineer with a Structures background looking for long term freelance work on one of the largest schemes in the Country?
My client, a leading civils contractor, is looking to recruit a Site Engineer with strong Structures experience to join the HS2 project near Milton Keynes.
Responsibilities include:
Setting Out
Very good CAD skills
Strong structural experience
Raising of TQ's
Quality Control ITP's
Quality documentation
Relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng)
Able to set out and level
Knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal regulations
Fully conversant with the use of robotic total station instruments
Experienced and confident in the setting out of earthworks and structures
Have some experience of AutoCAD
Fundamental understanding of bill of quantities
Previous experience in a Highways / Infrastructure environment
Experience:
BSc relevant Engineering degree or equivalent
Experience on large civils/highways/infrastructure projects
Strong Structural / Rebar working experience
General – Material Takeoff, RAMS development
Hands-on site practical and efficient and raising technical queries
Strong quality control
Good Cad and 3D models use
