Shift Operator

MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Shift Operator/ Operations Technician to join a leading business within the Power Generation/Energy from Waste sector.  

As the Shift Operator, you will be responsible for:

Working on a rotating shift pattern  
Daily operations of the plant
Working closely with the maintenance team to ensure full plant efficiency
Ensuring all shift handovers and requests are dealt with correctly
Carrying out daily plant checks and testing and inspection
Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:

Previous experience working in process operations in sectors including food processing, paper mill, cement works, anaerobic digestion, water treatment, or EfW/Power station
A good level of practical operations experience
A relevant engineering qualification (NVQ/Apprenticeship)
An excellent understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
