A Service Manager role managing a team of 4 Field Engineers for a well established British end of line packaging machinery /materials handling manufacturer. You will also be involved in pre sales support & project management alongside responsibility for service & after sales revenue.
 
BASIC SALARY: up to £65,000
 
BENEFITS:

LOCATION: Covering the UK spending 1 day every 2 weeks in the office & 2 days a week on average on client sites with the balance of your time working from home
 
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Northampton, Leicester, Coventry, Milton Keynes, Luton, Peterborough
 
JOB DESCRIPTION: Service Manager – end of line machinery / materials handling : manufacturer
 
First and foremost, as the Service Manager you will be managing a team of 4 Field Service / Automation Engineers covering the UK to include schedule planning & workload management as well as responsibility for after sales revenue. You will also work with the Project & Contract Engineering teams offering pre sales & application engineering support & project management support.
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Service Manager – end of line machinery / materials handling : manufacturer
 
· You MUST have a proven track record as a Service Manager managing a team of Field Service Engineers AND have specific experience of working with the beverage & food industry
· Ideally you will have hands on experience of packaging machinery & the bottling sector
· You MUST be a qualified Electrical Engineer ideally to HNC level
· You will be comfortable working for a SME family owned business
