Nationwide Service and Maintenance Engineer – Woodworking Machinery

Location – flexible across the UK

Salary & Bonuses to £35,000 plus company car

We are exclusively retained to recruit a skilled Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer with extensive experience installing, maintaining and servicing a broad range of wood working machinery.

We know this employer is good by reputation – they supply a lot of our other clients with machinery!

Markets include timber frame and truss, timber engineering, doors, joinery and furniture manufacturing. Machinery ranges from entry level to state-of-the-art touch screen CNC controlled lines, and 5 axis machining centres.

The company is long established with an excellent reputation, and a strong record of long-term staff loyalty. Their markets are busy with strong prospects for further growth and development.

We seek candidates with extensive experience installing, maintaining and servicing a range of wood working machinery for timber-based manufacturers. It would also be advantageous if you have a background and qualifications within electrical works.

As a Service and Maintenance Engineer, your experience will be either working in-house for a manufacturer; with extensive responsibility for maintenance and servicing, (not just as a Machinist), or for an installation and service company. Experience on CNC milling and cutting, 5 axis machining centres as well as a wide range of further equipment.

The role involves extensive travel across the UK throughout the week, for which all expenses are covered. There is the additional prospect of occasional international trips working with overseas clients (once restrictions lift) with additional allowances. You will need to clearly demonstrate your willingness for this extensive travel.

Whilst experience is required there will be further training on any further areas required.
