SERVICE ENGINEER – LOADING BAY EQUIPMENT – BASIC STARTING SALARY OF £28,000 DOE

Our client are an established business who have been trading for many years, specializing in the Manufacture, Installation, Maintenance & Repair on all types of Loading Bay Equipment and Industrial Doors. Based from offices in Kirklees, they are looking for a Service Engineer to join their team based in the South of England on a full time, permanent basis.

Basic Starting Salary of £28,000 depending on experience + overtime, call out, away pay (if required) and commission opportunities available!

Company vehicle, tools, mobile phone, uniform & PPE provided.

Working hours are Monday to Friday (40 hour week).

Full-time, Permanent Position.

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Service, Maintenance, Breakdowns & Repair of Scissor Lifts, Dock Levelers, Loading Bay & Industrial Doors.

* Assist with Installations when required.

* Identify further works whilst on site and convert quotations to orders.

* Area of work will predominately be around South and Central England, however out clients customer base covers the UK, therefore you must be willing to travel for work.

Ideal Person:

* Experience carrying out Service / Repair work on Scissor Lifts is essential for this position.

* Experience working on Dock Levelers, Dock Shelters, Industrial Doors and other Loading Bay equipment is also required (training can be provided on some aspects for the right candidate).

* Recognised Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Welding Qualification or Equivalent Experience required.

* Full UK Driving License – Essential!

* Flexible approach to work – Must be willing to take part in call out rota and travel for work when required.

* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

* Good Fault / Problem solving skills
