A UK ever-expanding company within the Material Handling industry are searching for an experienced Mechanical Engineer for a Field Service role based in the Buckinghamshire area. Due to expansion and the continuous increase of their clients, they are now looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join their team.

The company work with one of the biggest manufacturers of forklift trucks. This role will suit an Engineer from a Mechanical Engineering background who has extensive experience and skills working with Gas and Diesel engines, Hydraulics and Electrics. They will consider FLT Engineers, Plant Fitters, HGV Technicians and ex forces. The ideal candidate must be able to work well under pressure as this is a fast paced role and have a 'can-do' attitude to work.

Working hours will be 08:00-17:00 (Mon-Fri). In return the company offer an attractive salary circa £28k, Van, Door to Door, Call Out, O/T plus much more.

Responsibilities:

Servicing and repair of trucks as directed by the Service Manager
Diagnosing the nature of each query and repair with a friendly and efficient attitude.
Completing a service report for each job on a PDA system
Reporting to the Service ManagerThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:

Experienced in FLT, Plant, and/or HGV.
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant or Maintenance is preferred
Highly advanced with Gas and Diesel engines, Hydraulics and Electrics
Well organised, methodical and process-driven
Good at micro managing workload and able to work well under pressure
A good team playerSalary and Benefits:

Salary £28k+ dependant on industry experience
Overtime paid at time and a half
Paid door to door travel

Call out is compulsory after 6 month probation – 1 in 3
