Field Service Engineer – Food and packaging machinery

Title Field Service engineer –

Salary Basic £35K – £40K. Average earnings £40K – £50K

Door to door pay

Overtime – inflated rates during the week and weekend

Package Company car, mobile phone, laptop, health care, pension, training.

Hours 40 hours per week + Overtime

Due to continued success, renewed contracts, and new business my client is looking to hire x2 additional field-based engineers to visit food production and packaging plants in their area.

If you are a maintenance engineer or Technician and you are looking for a challenge and a more varied week then this role will be for you, not any 2 days are the same, get away from shifts and become a product specialist.

The company will provide full training on their machines but candidates who have worked on electromechanical production machinery will be preferable.

* Traveling to food and packaging plants to install, repair or maintain machinery

* Retro fitting machinery into production lines

The person

* Experience with working with motors, conveyors, labellers, cappers, tray sealers, baggers, weighers, slicers, and similar machinery

* Must have hands-on experience repairing and maintaining manufacturing and FMCG equipment

* Happy to travel and stay away from home when required – all expenses covered.

* Maintenance and repair background

* Field or mobile experience – Not essential

* Opportunity to progress to a senior field service engineer
