Are you an experienced Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer with hands on experience of slicing or thermoforming machinery used in the food manufacturing & processing industry? A great opportunity to join a market leading manufacturer of process & packaging machinery looking to strengthen its service team in the UK.
 
BASIC SALARY: up to £42,000

LOCATION: Covering the UK you will be home based & ideally you will live near to the M1, M4, M6 or M62 motorways within 2 hours of Birmingham
 
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, Swindon, Nottingham, Milton Keynes, Sheffield, Stoke
 
JOB DESCRIPTION: Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer – slicing / thermoforming machinery : Food manufacturing / processing
 
Classic Service Engineer role offering repair, refurbishment, installation & commissioning of a range of packaging & process machinery supplied to the food market. This role would be as a specialist in slicing & thermoforming machinery across the whole UK. Overtime is paid door to door and you will be expected to stay away from home for 1 to 2 nights per week on average with occasional weekend work required.
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer – slicing / thermoforming machinery : Food manufacturing / processing
 
· You MUST be an experienced Field Service Engineer with hands on experience of either slicing or thermoforming machinery used in the food industry
· The company will, however, also consider an experienced food factory Maintenance Engineer with the same hands on experience who wants a field service role.
· You WILL be a qualified Electrical/Electronic Engineer
