Service Engineer-Plant Machinery***

***Urgently Required-Permanent Positions***

Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Service Engineer for our clients busy plant maintenance team based in Milton Keynes.

The purpose of the role includes Machine Plant Diagnostics, Servicing & Repairs & Construction, Agricultural, Industrial, Heavy Line and Recycling Equipment to the highest standard within a set territory to new and existing customers.

This is a customer facing role which requires you to build strong customer relationships within the Service sector of business.

Candidates will come from a current plant engineering / maintenance role.

Candidate duties will include:

Build strong and positive relationships with the customer

Build and document knowledge about the customer company and its technical operations

Communicate any important customer information to the company

To react to any customer needs quickly, effectively and efficiently

To carry out repairs to the highest standard

Carry out all work practices in line with company health and safety policy

Candidate experience will include:

Have an experience of working with plant & heavy machinery

Teamwork, ability to work confidently within a group and on own initiative

Time Management, ability to manage time effectively, prioritising tasks and working to deadlines

Analysing and Investigating

Commercial Awareness, ability to understand the commercial realities affecting the organisation

Flexibility, ability to adapt successfully to changing situations and environments

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm-overtime is available-on call duties / shift rota.

Starting salary, DOE-excellent packages are available.
