Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer required to join a leading engineering supplier.
The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on compressed air equipment at customer sites across the South of the UK.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer will ideally have a field Service background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering. Compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems or similar compressed air related equipment are advantageous. Full training provided.

The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer Role
To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites.
The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of Compressed air systems.
Maintain, repair and install air compressors, blowers, dryers and pneumatic equipment across the South of the UK.
Installing compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment.
Laisse with various engineering departments.
Homebased, Commutable to Buckinghamshire or willing to relocate.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer Requirements
Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical/mechanical systems.
Experience in Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer role or similar.
The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
Good working knowledge of three phase electrics and controls.
Field servicing background in compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems or similar compressed air related equipment is advantageous. Full product training provided.
A technical mechanical/electrical/electronic / instrumentation qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous
