Due to new projects and continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated, enthusiastic and flexible Service & Commissioning Engineer to join an experienced team. You will be working with heavy machinery and electrical power systems, for a range of industries;

We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer with in-depth drives experience, with a formal qualification of HNC or above in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering. Any industrial experience utilising Drives within a heavy industrial environment would be highly advantageous.

You will be carrying out the testing, fault-finding, repair, maintenance, installation and commissioning of automated test equipment. PLC knowledge is advantageous, but not essential.

Based in the Home Counties, the ideal Engineers will live within 1 hour of Bedford. Travel is mainly UK with some travel in Europe. When not on client sites you will spend time working in the test bay at the manufacturing site.

This role is commutable from within and around Milton Keynes, Bedford, Northampton, Stevenage, Luton, Hemel Hempstead, Bicester, Banbury and Cambridge.

A competitive salary is on offer c£30-40k depending on experience, with a package to include paid Overtime, including weekends, 23 days Holiday, contributory Pension and BUPA Healthcare after 3 years of service. You can expect your OTE to be c£50-60k
