Job Title:               Senior Verification Engineer

Location:               Buckinghamshire

Job Type:              Full-Time

Contract role:      Day rate outside of IR35

The Client:

We are working with a cutting-edge automotive manufacturer, who is developing exciting new technologies. Their engineering team is responsible for developing and supplying situational awareness and navigation platforms.  Since their founding 3 years ago they have rapidly expanded and recently gained a significant 8 figure investment from OEMs and Tier 1s.

Their product is supported by a proprietary software backed up by hundreds of patents (issued or pending). As this team of high-profile engineers and scientists continues to grow, they are looking invest in the career of a Senior Verification Engineer.   

The Role:

You will conduct verification and validation activities on new products. Working with leading OEMs and Tiers 1s all products will need to comply with automotive-grade electronics standards.

Responsibilities of a Senior Verification Engineer within the business include:

Regression testing
Complex  FPGA system simulations
Code reviews
Designing functional correctness tests.
Implementing verification test cases for FPGAs
Implementing verification
 Debugging
Qualifications/Experience:

The desired candidate will be educated to degree level in a relevant subject such as Electronics Engineering or Computer Science.  will have good knowledge of embedded systems development, including demonstrable FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Arrays) design and experience in VHDL and coding in languages such as Python.
